Enhancing product security while maintaining customer experience
Overview
Boots, one of the UK’s leading health and beauty retailers, operates a large network of stores nationwide. In response to increasing product losses in sensitive categories such as Eyecare and Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT), Boots partnered with RMS to scope, plan and deliver a tailored loss prevention installation programme.
The project focused on designing and implementing a sliding shields loss prevention solution across selected stores, safeguarding high value products while ensuring accessibility, customer experience and brand presentation were maintained.
This rollout required a national approach, with installations completed in 268 stores across England, Wales, and Scotland, covering high street, shopping centre, and train station locations.
Our Approach
RMS collaborated closely with Boots’ Loss Prevention team and store managers to design a detailed rollout plan. With careful scheduling, standardised processes and strict compliance measures, the project was delivered smoothly with minimal disruption to trading.
