RMS were proud to support Sainsbury’s with the successful opening of their brand new Washingborough store, delivered in just 10 days from day one on site to opening day.
This project brought together 26 RMS colleagues, working across days and nights, completing a total of 371 shifts.
The result? A flawlessly executed rollout, exceptional client feedback and a standout team effort recognised by Sainsbury’s senior management onsite.

Fast, Efficient Delivery
The Washingborough store was completed inside an ambitious 10 day programme which is a testament to the teams meticulous planning, strong collaboration and the experience of the RMS team on the ground delivering in large format grocery environments.
Onsite Expertise
Our team of 26 worked across all key phases, including:
- Merchandising and layout execution
- Category and planogram implementation
- Store readiness and compliance checks
- Back of house organisation
- Final walk through and opening day support
Sainsbury’s also recognised the outstanding contribution of Sam Seal, Sheila Filson and Sacha Odita during the opening day acknowledgements.
A Unique Moment
Washingborough offered the team an unexpected perk, its close proximity to the Red Arrows RAF base, just 15 minutes away. Multiple training flybys took place throughout the project…
