Working across days and nights, our teams combine experienced Team Leaders with specialist merchandising, systems and installation colleagues. This flexible resource model enables RMS to deliver complex individual projects while supporting concurrent activity across multiple locations.
RMS brings extensive experience of delivering significant transformation while Sainsbury’s stores remain open and trading.
Successful delivery depends on carefully sequencing works around construction activity, store operations, equipment availability and customer access. We bring these requirements together through clear planning, close communication and experienced onsite leadership, giving store teams and delivery partners a coordinated framework within which to work.
The Sainsbury’s Tonbridge Superstore transformation demonstrates this capability. Alongside delivering the merchandising and transformation programme, RMS led the project phasing strategy, developing the implementation plan around which construction and store teams operated. A dedicated Equipment Manager and enhanced Team Leader structure coordinated equipment, resources and activity throughout the programme.
This combination of strategic planning and practical retail experience allows RMS to operate as an integrated extension of Sainsbury’s delivery team, resolving challenges as they arise and maintaining momentum through each phase of transformation.
Our 12 year relationship with Sainsbury’s is built on close collaboration, detailed operational knowledge and consistent delivery. As Sainsbury’s No.1 merchandising partner of choice, RMS combines the scale to support national programmes with the care and onsite expertise needed to deliver each store successfully.
From flagship Superstore transformations to Sainsbury’s Local openings, we provide accountable leadership, responsive teams and a shared commitment to getting stores ready for customers.
